We Rise By Lifting Others

I've been low as I grieve & while honoring my phases of grief, I also want to rise.

Today was the June meeting of a group I joined a few months ago to meet people & help make my world a better place. I had a pet project happening this month. It felt like the right time to jump back in, so I went.

Our room was packed! There were over 80 women gathered! They were excited about my project! They were energized by our guest speakers. My creative, problem solving, 'how can I use my skills to help' brain started awakening! It felt good. 🤍

Sometimes when we don't know how to make ourselves feel better we can more easily know how to serve or lift others. This feels good! This starts some movement! This can happen with also honoring the moments of sadness.

Service & helping is a big part of who I am & it felt good & right to get back to it for a bit today. 🤍
