Tough Hill to Climb

And also ... I went on a bike ride this evening, struggled up a slow steady long incline, lost my breath, challenged to regain control, thought of my dad waking to knowing he was stroking & imagined the fear he must've felt 🥺. So I cried on the side of the road with a hot snotty face for a few minutes.

Let it flow.

Reset with my now: He is resting in peace. He is not scared. He is not hurting.

Wiped my nose with my shirt.
Got a big hug from my husband, got back on my bike & peddled home.

All the feelings belong here.

PS- this photo is not the hill! This was 15 minutes prior on a nice flat part.
